We call her Bonnie but our vet named her Shamequa Holdsclaw in honor of a famous female basketball player who played for UT. She has an 'ornange' sleeve on her right leg and will hold it up when she is playing. Bonnie came to our attention as a stray that had 10 pups. We were able to get her pups to another rescue and now Bonnie needs her forever home. She does not warm up to a stranger immediately but once she trusts you her true personality shines. Little Hoss is an abuse survivor. Despite the trials of his past, he is sweet, loving and affectionate. He lives for car rides and cuddles and will spend lots of time with his head tucked up under your arm (it makes him feel safe). He does have a heart condition that requires daily medication, but he takes his pills with no complaint. He is also underweight right now, but his foster mom is working to correct that. Hoss is a perfect gentleman he is house trained and great with both children and cats. He would definitely prefer a home with no other dogs.
